02 · What you can do
Thumbnail maker, album cover generator and poster designer in one
Each of these is a one-tap preset in the generator above. Tap it, change the words and details, pick the matching shape and generate.
Event and gig posters
Concerts, parties, markets and fundraisers. Give the headline, the date and the venue in quotes and choose Portrait (2:3 or 3:4).
YouTube thumbnail maker
Big face, big object, four or five big words, strong contrast. Choose Widescreen (16:9) so it fits the YouTube frame.
Album cover and cover art generator
Cover art for a single, an EP or a playlist, in square format. Say where the artist name and title go, or ask for no text and add it later.
Movie poster maker
Key art with a title and a tagline, for a short film, a school project or a game night. Flux Pro gives the most cinematic look.
Book cover generator
Front covers for novels, ebooks and journals in a 2:3 portrait shape. Name the genre so the style fits the shelf.
Business card generator
A clean card layout with your name, title and contact line. Use Photo (3:2) and check every character of the details before you print.
Flyers and announcements
Sales, classes, lost pets, open days. Keep it to a headline and two or three short lines so every word comes out clean.
YouTube banner maker
Channel art with the name kept in the center, where it shows on phones and TVs. Make it in Widescreen, then crop to the banner size YouTube asks for.

04 · Why AI
A poster maker that designs the artwork too
Artwork and type in one step
Template editors give you a layout but leave you hunting for an image that fits. Here the picture is made for your headline, and the type is part of the composition.
Every format from one prompt
Turn the same idea into a portrait poster, a 16:9 thumbnail and a square cover by changing the shape and running it again, instead of rebuilding the design each time.
Honest about print work
For a press-ready file with exact bleed, CMYK color and long blocks of small text, finish the design in a layout tool. Use the generator for the concept and the hero artwork.

AI Poster Generator FAQ
What is an AI poster generator?
A tool that designs a poster, cover or thumbnail from a description. You describe the image, the style and the text, and an image model draws the whole design, artwork and lettering together.
Is the AI Poster Generator free?
New accounts get 5 free credits, and Ideogram v3 Turbo runs from 4 credits per image, so you can try it without paying. After that it runs on credits; the button shows the price before you run, and a failed run costs nothing.
What sizes can I make?
Pick the shape before you generate: Portrait (2:3, 3:4, 9:16) for posters, flyers and book covers, Widescreen (16:9) for YouTube thumbnails and banners, Square for album covers and posts, Photo (3:2) for business cards. Crop to the exact pixel size a platform asks for.
Will the text be spelled correctly?
Headlines usually come out right with Ideogram 3, GPT Image and Nano Banana Pro. Put each line in quotes, keep it short, and proofread names, dates and phone numbers before you print or post.
Can I put my own photo on a thumbnail or poster?
Yes. Switch to GPT Image or Nano Banana Pro, open Image to Image, upload your photo and describe the design around it, for example "keep my face, add a yellow background and the text…".
Is it good enough to print?
For posters and flyers at home or office sizes, usually yes; Nano Banana Pro can output higher resolution. For professional print with bleed and CMYK, bring the image into a layout tool and add fine print there.
Can I make a business card I can print?
You get the card design as an image. Use it as the artwork, check every detail, and have it set to your printer’s card size with bleed in a layout or print-shop tool.
What isn’t allowed?
Sexual content, designs that copy a real film, band or publisher’s branding to pass as official, and posters showing celebrities or public figures are not allowed. Use original titles and characters.
